Welcome to the Grand Prix Midgets history site.

The current formula was instigated by Spedeworth International in 1967. These pages will chronicle the formula through to the present day from the sixties, through the seventies, eighties and nineties and then the current decade. A new section is being set up to include a championship / trophy index.

27 Jun 08 - New date found for 1977 - 19th June at Alwlaton. Report added as well.

13 Jun 08 - Report added for Snetterton meeting 23rd July 1972. Two drivers added to 1968 driver listing. Further date added to 1969. Set up a new page which will index trophies and championships.
07 Jun 08 - 1976 European Championship programmed entries added. Report added for Sunday 24th March 1974, Yarmouth. 1974 Spedeworth driver list updated to include car type where known.
07 Jun 08 - Daz White page added to 1971. 1971 Midget Scene Review by Rod Tanswell added. Page set up for Ringwood 2nd May 1971 and pic of Frank Boyles' crash added.
06 Jun 08 - Full report added for 1984 National Championship meeting at Northampton. Picture of Malcolm Goodman also added.
06 Jun 08 - Grids and programme cover added for 1982 Cowdenbeath meeting.
