With a good turn out of cars that made there way north to Knockhill we were all wondering if we had selected the right gearing for the track,. As the car lined up for race one, it was Lee Hazeltine who made a great start ahead of Andrew Lewis, Pete Dorrell was third Andrew Bilby and Allen Herbert followed on, back at the red graded cars Mark de Land went all of 6 inches as the driveshaft broke giving Steve Young a scare as he took avoiding action to miss the back of Marc`s stricken car, Neirl Clarke was making up ground on the yellow graded cars, but it was Jonathon Pooley who was making his way through the field starting from the rear of thr grid. By lap 12 Lee Hazeltine was coming under pressure from Jonathon Pooley. Daniel Pooley got past Steve Young coming out of the pit turn and using a bit of the grass verge as well as the track to do so. Cliff Bunn Mark Hodges and Neil Clarke pased Allen Herbert after a little mistake going into the harpin turn, Jonathon was now out in front and was easing off as he had built up a good lead, Brother Daniel Pooley made it a one two for the family as he past Lee Hazeltine who drove really well, Mark Hodges got past Cliff on the last lap to get 4th.

RACE 2

Andrew Lewis made a good start from Lee Hazeltine Allen Herbert got past Andrew bilby after a missed gear change but Pete Dorrell was proving to be a bit harder to pass, Daniel Pooley went a bit to wide coming out of turn one which let Jonathon P/ Mark H/and C Bunn pass, At the front going into the Harpin Andrew lost the back end and slid towards the infield letting Lee Hazeltine take the lead closley followed by Allen herbert. Jonathon P who made a slow start was now up to 3rd but was closing in on Allen & Lee who were fighting for the lead. Niel Clarke was in a battle with Cliff Bunn Steve Young Daniel Pooley & Mark Hodges But it was Mark H who came out best moving up 4 places as all five cars were bunched together going into the thats two laps, But it was Jonathon who won from Allen H and yet another good drive from the white graded driver Lee Hazeltine.

FINAL (TOURIST TROPHY)

Lee Hazeltine got the better start from Andrew Lewis while Allen Herbert made a flying start from the yellows then it was Andre Bilby from Niel Clarke Cliff Bunn Mark Hodges steve Young Daniel pooley and then Jonathon, by lap 8 Lee and Allen were having a good battle for the lead Jonathon was now up to 7th but the overtaking move of the day goes to Jonathon as Andrew Bilby and Andrew Lewis was sorting out who was fourth Steve Young goes between them as Jonathon goes to the outide to make it four cars wide as they aproached turn 2 getting past both Andrews and staying out wide he took Steve Young on the exit of turn 3 to move up to fourth which became third when Neil spun at the harpin. Cliff Bunn was having handling problems further down the field. With two laps to go Allen when a little wide to allow Jonathon into the lead steve young had to work hard to pass Lee how had a great meeting all round Mark H had a closer look at the infield as he slid coming out of turn 3, with one to go Steve young tryed to get by Allen H but there was not enough time . So it was once again Jonathon Pooley who has a hatrick of wins and takes the Tourist Trophy to add to his collection. Well done Jonathon.
