Race one. Leon Retchless got the better start over his brother Luke to take up the lead, At there rear of the field Daniel Pooley had passed Steve Young & Cliff Bunn by the end of lap one, By lap 4 Pete Dorrell was challenging Luke for second which became for the lead as Leon spun going into turn one, Mark Hodges had gone I little wide exiting turn 4 allowing Daniel to get on his side to move up a place, Andrew Bilby and Neil Clarke was have a battle and was joined by Marc de land, Young Leon spun again and this brought out the pace car, on the rolling start Pete Dorrell was the leader from Luke Retchless, Carl Checkley, 3rd. Marc de Land tried to keep Daniel behind but being to cautious going into turn 1 allowed Daniel to drive around the outside of him, With 5 to go It was Daniel who took up the lead from Pete Dorrell with Marc de land taking Pete around the out side of turns 1 & 2 , Pete then came under pressure from Neil Clarke and Mark Hodges, it was not till the last lap mark made a move between the pair of them going down the back straight to move up to 3rd.

Race two. Again Leon got off to a flyer but Luke had stalled his car and while trying to fire it back up the rest of the field was going by either side of him, but as the red graded cars exited the turn 4 fighting for positions there was no way they was going to miss Luke`s stricken car, Mark Hodges collided with the rear, while this was happening Daniel was trying to miss this and collided with Cliff Bunn as the race was stopped all the cars relined up, so three cars down for the restart it was Leon who took up the lead but it was not long before Pete Dorrell and Andrew Lewis was with him, exiting turn 4 Pete saw a gap and made a move for the lead, Leon seemed to have a problem Allowing a flow of cars pass. Steve Dawson also had problems as the car did not handle well when cornering allowing Cliff Bunn & Marc de Land through, on the last lap there was four cars all together with Pete still out in front Neil Clarke tried to take Andrew Lewis but in doing so left a gap on his inside which Steve Young made the most of to take third from Neil. But congratulations to Pete on his first win of the season.

Final Simon Pashley Cup: Leon got away well, Andrew Lewis seemed bogged down as he was passed by Pete Dorrell and Carl Checkley, Further down the field M.de Land went wide going into turn 3 allowing Daniel Pooley through, up ahead was Andrew Bilby Neil Clarke and Steve Dawson and after two laps had passed Daniel and Marc was with them, Daniel took all three cars in half a lap Marc tried to follow through Steve closed the gap, Going down the back straight Andrew Bilby had rear suspension failure in front of Neil Carke and both went into the fencing Steve Dawson & Marc de Land took avoiding action. Pace car deployed for the rolling restart, and it was Leon Retchless from Pete Dorrell. Daniel made the most of this restart to pass Carl Checkley and Andrew Lewis to move up to 3rd , Steve young passed Cliff Bunn and set about catching Marc de Land who had now moved up to 5th, With six laps to go Daniel took up the lead from Leon Retchless who was also coming under pressure from Pete Dorrell and Carl Checkley and it was that pressure that put Leon into a spin and was just avoided by Marc de Land but Steve Dawson came to a stand still. With the field looking a little depleted Daniel was way out front but Marc de land was now up to 2nd and set about catching the number 32 car, Steve young moved to 3rd when Pete retired to the infield, with two to go Daniel took while to pass Carl Checkley allowing Marc to close the gap down to three or four car lengths but there was not enough laps and it was Daniel who took the win.
