Wednesday 31st July 1974 - Arlington - 50 lap Grand Prix
Report by 'Southdowner' from Superstox English Championship
programme
That 50 lap Grand Prix Midget race down at Arlington went
perhaps the way expected with Frank Boyles running away with
it. Once again Mick Bonner was the unlucky one though quite
a number of cars went out, some of it perhaps due to the toughness
of the Arlington circuit and those two humps which had the
Midgets bottoming with a great display of fireworks underneath.
Did you folk there note our Frank's spot of advertising as
he got on the control car for that lap of honour - 'first,
second and third were all Fireballs'.
National Points Chart: 1st Mick Bonner (134pts), 2nd Frank
Boyles (133pts), 3rd Keith Fransella (94pts)
