Report by Man on the Terrace from Spedeweek number 12
Mick Bonner took the Midgets Trophy on aggregate points
over the three races. Keith Fransella and Ray Perry were behind
him in race one. Frank Boyles made no mistake in the second
race but Mick Bonner came from the back to finish second with
Pete Gatehouse third. Like Malcolm Goodman, Pete Gatehouse
is a useful recruit to the Midgets. Mick Bonner made certain
of the trophy by winning the last race from Dave Cox and Bill
Boarer.
