Sunday 24th June, Yarmouth, East Anglian Championship
By Harry Barnes from Spedeweek 20

The meager crowd who withstood the temptation of nice cool breeze on the beeach at Yarmouth last week saw one of the best meetings staged by the Midget car racers. The racing not only looked spectacular, but it was also full of good racing interest. Unhappily our Anglian drivers caught a cold championship wise, and it was Hampshire's Bob Elson who took away the trophy and the title. The final race of the afternoon was a different matter however and the Bonner, Burridge, Martin trio provided some excellent "team racing" to take the first three places.
