Report by 'The Informer' from Spedeweek no 45
Despite the damage of the night before a very
good turn out of Midgets made it to Ipswich for the 'Dave
Bissett Benefit Meeting’. This is more than can be said of
the Supers and Stock Cars, only half a dozen making the effort
which to my way of thinking was a poor show. Credit also to
the Hot Rods who turned out in force for Dave's benefit. All
in all a very good meeting with plenty of action. The final
winner in the Midget class being Frank Boyles who was presented
with a very nice trophy by Mrs Bissett.
