Aldershot
Graham Pearce became the third driver to flip his Midget racer
when the Bonner outfit got out of control and clipped his
car during the third midget race at Aldershot on 24th August.
John Houghton's prototype birdcage was also involved. Bonner
received slight injuries but was not detailed in hospital,
Pearce, after a particularly hairy triple roll, reported a
tear in his overalls.

Ipswich
I've had two programmes
for this meeting and neither of them have the results recorded
for race one so I wonder if they were not given out over the
PA system. All three races were 8 laps however and the cars
starting the final were: 1, 3, 4, 22, 15, 6, 14, 8 One of
the programmes records that Mick Miller was the top points
scorer on the day.
